1. Who wrote the novel and who directed the film? On January 4th 1975, in Rockville Centre, New York, Seth Grahame-Smith was born. His parents, Deborah Ann and Barry Michael, divorced when Grahame-Smith was very young, leading Grahame-Smith to move to Weston and then Bethel, Connecticut.
